Day 1 cont. - Cobar to White Cliffs
Cobar to White Cliffs took two hours. The 2 new commercial students Aaron and Neill took off in MGZ with Neill as PIC and Aaron as the navigator. Some good land marks are the Darling River, a dried out lake, there is a privately owned airstrip to pick out and a few roads. White Cliffs looks "like a moon landscape" according to Aaron. The runways at White Cliffs 01 and 19 is a dirt strip ad 12, 30 is bituman. AVGAS is available (08 8091 6606). Proir Permission is needed from Russell Bow (08 8091 5927).
